Training Log (or something like that)... Count down to the Tour...June 17 - 80 days... 12 weeks.
I'm asking my buddy Mike for some training suggestions. Today, just a little pedal in the wind, 13 miles, 25 mph breeze. Didn't feel like I did anything.
Tomorrow, basketball banquet. Not sure I'm going to get much in, but will try to do something even for 1/2 hr. Probably not on the bike, though.
After I rode tonight, I looked up the first day of the ride: 57 miles. That will be cake. I'm glad the first day will be a short one. I think my sister will be ok with that one. The 73 miler will be a challenge. But we're not riding the Giro. We're touring, which means enjoy the scenery.
I always seem to get myself all worked up, then when it comes down to it, things go fine and I wonder why I got myself all worked up. (like the SB National Monument bike race)... although that one is an ass-kicker!
Stay tuned... The old lady is on a mission!
