Wind has finally subsided. Today, 45 min. spin class. I think we all had a good ride. The YMCA program director participated in my class. I never get negative feedback... we all have a great time riding. But the class is intense. Tomorrow, first day of official riding with my sister for the Tour De Nebraska. We'll start slow so to get her fanny used to the seat, probably 10-15 miles. Should be a beautiful day for riding. 60 degrees. She'll do great!
A lady who has recently popped in and out of my spin class (she's 47 yrs old and pretty heavy), told me today she has lost 25 pounds. She said she loves my class but is trying to mix it up and hopes I wasn't offended that she doesn't attend every week. I said, "Heck no! You just come on in whenever you'd like." She said the last time she rode my class she went too hard and threw up after the class.
That's a first. I certainly don't call that an admirable thing to have one of your participants tell you. But she was all laughing about it. I kind of felt bad. I try to tell them to go at their own pace, and truly, it is difficult, but she certainly overdid herself. I still feel bad.
